Yay! Raising the feeder and waterer has greatly reduced the mess getting into the water! Unfortunately it has caused the chicks to spill a lot more feed all over the box. Win some and lose some I guess.
Jedi had a harder time today. I blame the fact that we've had two days of parent-teacher conferences which means about 5 hours a day that we're at school without any students and I'm just sitting and doing paperwork or talking with parents which means not a lot of stimulation for him and the chicks are getting noisier now. He still just looked towards the box going to the car in the morning. On return from school he glanced towards the box but then beat me to the door into the house. When it came to training time in the garage though he took a step back. He ignored a command to walk towards the box and he missed a command due to lack of attention because he was looking towards the box. Overall he still did well and was fairly focused but definitely less so then he has been. Certainly a work in progress.
